Its been too long!

Well, I've been struggling with this blog but I am back and determined to be a better blogger in 2010!

Life has been CRAZY! My boys are growing like crazy and just amazing me (and drive me crazy)! We've also added a fur-baby to our family, so be on the look out for furry scrap pages in the near future! LOL One more baby for me to scrap!

I've been trying to figure out which way I want to go with my scrapping and have decided that I will design as I am inspired, scrap my favourite photos and share the joy of hybrid in 2010. So you will be hearing from me lots in 2010. Sometimes it will be to share a LO I've created, sometimes with a hybrid tutorial (and or template Freebie) and sometimes with a new release.

Today I have a few things I want to share. Firstly, I have the pleasure of being a member of Brandy Desings' CT. I just finished a LO with her beautiful kit "A Cold Winters Night". It was so easy to create this LO with all the great element choices and beautiful papers. I will be making many more LOs with this kit! This LO is actually with pictures taken today. My oldest LOVES the outdoors and the cold doesn't seem to phase him, so we go out daily and if the driveway doesn't need shoveling he shovels the backyard!

A challenge and QP Freebie

Well its been too long since my last post!
I am going to blame it on lack of sleep! The little one has taking to enjoying getting me up every hour all night long! YUCK!!! I am reading "Healthy Sleep Habits Happy Baby" but if anyone has any other suggestions I am all for it (but if your suggestion is CIO... that wont work for me, he goes to sleep fine on his own in his crib, just cant STAY asleep and I am not a fan of middle of the night CIO. I am interested in helping him learn to sooth himself back to sleep)

Ok back to scrapbooking! September marks the 1st birthday of Brownie Scraps! I've been there since the beginning, at first as a CT and then as a Designer. I truly love it at Brownie Scraps. We have a great family there. Come check it out! We have lots of fun going to to celebrate our birthday!


One of the things that we switched up to celebrate our Birthday is the challenges. In the challenge shuffle, I have taken over the white space challenge - know as Fat Free Brownies at Brownie Scraps. I just love Fat free LOs so I am so excited to be taking this challenge. Take a look at the LO I made for the challenge.

I used "Love by the Lakeside" by Kelly of Dreamers Magic Designs. It is such an amazing kit and it was so easy to create a LO thanks to the rich papers and amazing elements!
Kelly even gave me permission to give you guys a QP based on my LO!

Well it is week three of the designer challenge and I am having so much fun!
